Vinyl plastisol adhesion (to ED) at low temperature baking
April 29, 2013
Q. Dear fellows,
I was wondering if anybody could help us improve the adhesion of our products. We mainly produce seam sealer and underbody coat to be used in automotive industry; we need to promote the adhesion of our products to an ED coated metal surface at low temperature baking (~125 °C, 257 °F@ 30Min), while we already have a sufficient adhesion at higher temperatures(~140 ° C, 284 ° F@ 30Min).
The formulation is mostly composed of PVC, DOP, Caco3, PCC.
Sincerely,
- Tehran, Iran
