Is it possible to bright dip then chromate conversion coat in lieu of anodizing?

March 9, 2013

Dear sir,
1. I am keen in knowing whether anodizing is required or not after Bright Dip?
2. After Bright Dip the products are fine, and after anodizing we are finding some scales marks and strains on the products.
3. After Bright Dip can we go for Alodine [chromate conversion coating] process?

To anodize or Alodine after bright dipping depends upon your customer's requirement. Perhaps you can negotiate it.
