Improve polyamide adhesion on nickel film
November 1, 2012
Q. I made Polyamide solution using Polyamide resin and IPA + Toluene. And I prepared two sheet. The first sheet is nickel sputtered PVC sheet, the other is only PVC sheet.
And I coated the first sheet on the nickel sputtered side with the solution, and also the other sheet on one side.
After drying the both sheet, I bonded them facing with coated sides using hot press at 100 C.
But their bonding was very poor. All Polyamide was left on PVC sheet after pull test.
How can I improve bonding strength, especially on NICKEL?
