Hand painting gym equipment
Q. Hi there new to this site and need as much advice as possible.
I am refurbing some old gym equipment and plan to prep and finish it by hand in black as opposed to shot blasting and powder coating. Ideally I would prefer a matte finish but also must be able to wipe the machines down without removing the paint. But if it must be a glossy finish then so be it.
What would be the best paint to use to achieve the smoothest finish possible and what type of brush or roller would you reccomend I use?
Any other tips or advice would be very highly appreciated.
