Salt Spray Testing of MIL-A-63567A Teflon Impregnated Panels Q&A
Q. `The spec requires the usual test panels for coating weight, thickness, salt spray, and abrasion. Since the spec says not to seal the Taber panel with Teflon - we just use our standard MIL-A-8625 Taber panel results to cover that one.
QUESTION: Are the MIL-A-63567A salt spray test panels done after the Teflon impregnation such that they are an additional set of (5) panels - totally separate from the standard MIL-A-8625 panels which are sealed with dichromate?
