Streaks in clear anodized 3003 Aluminum Alloy

Q. Hello,

We built louvers, consisting of 1/8" x 2" 3003 blades welded to 6063 frame, then sent out for class II clear anodizing. We consumed approx 15 sheets of 3003 aluminum and purchased in tow lots. When the product arrived, "some" of the individual blades had streaks in them. The streaks are running horizontal to the tank bottom and are at a 3/8"-1/2" pitch. It's visual enough where will not send this to the customer.

We have not ever had this experience before. Any ideas as to what is causing this issue?

Thanks, Tony
