Stripping process for "Forever Nickel"
Q. Can "forever nickel" be stripped without etching the under-plating?

Hi, David.
I give up, what's "Forever Nickel". Can you point us to a description or reference?

It is a coating that Kohler puts on their fixtures. It is conductive but plating won't stick. It strips in H2SO4 with current but etches the brass substrate.
