Black traces on electropolished parts at jigging area

Q. In electropolishing, black traces are present at the jig holding area of the metal and polish is not perfect at that area. I can't able to do perfect finish. Can anyone help me resolve the issue.

Most probably, your electropolishing solution is contaminated.
Try replacing it with a fresh one.

You could try one of 2 things: put movement on the rack or change the position of the contact area half way through the process
