Wash Primer and Mil-C-5541

Q. Is wash primer considered a chemical conversion coating that would be compliant with MIL-5541?

Hi, Greg.

You posting is so brief that I may be misreading it but, no, wash primer is not compliant with Mil-DTL-5541. Only the specific products on the approved products list may be used for the process.
