Cylindrical grinding down to mirror finish
Hello
I have 5 stages Cylindrical grinding machine (belt abrasives) and I'd like to grind stainless steel tubes down to Ra<0.1 µm and Rsm >100 µm (mean spacing).
The starting roughness is about Ra=0.5 um
I'll appreciate to know the governing principles of driving down Ra while keeping the groove spacing high
Thanks
