Nanodispersions In Black Dye?

September 27, 2011

Good day. First off I'd like to apologize for the delay in response to my thread letter 57199. The response is now archived. I'd like to thank all involved.
I have been following Global Spec's news letters and came across nanodispersions used in dyes to retard UV degradation. Does anyone have any thoughts on this as it might apply to anodize/black dye (or any other dye)? I have contacted my dye supplier (Northern Technical Solutions/Clariant) and am awaiting a response. I have contacted Nanograde in Switzerland and am told this can be accomplished, however they is not familiar with MIL-8625 or PPS-32.05 .
