Will the finish come off tin mirror if I clean it or get glass cleaner on it?

August 28, 2011

I am thinking about buying a punched tin mirror for my bathroom. There are 3 kinds to choose from. one is a copper finish and one is an oxidized finish and the last one is a natural finish. I'm a bit worried about the copper and oxidized finishes. will they come off if I get any glass cleaner on them? Should I just go with the natural tin finish to avoid any discoloration? I really like the copper and oxidized versions of this mirror but I'm a little worried about the finish coming off? I don't know the process for doing this. I don't want to be wishing in the future I had just chosen the natural finished punched tin mirror. Any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks :)
