Is coefficient of friction of Zinc Nickel plating comparable to yellow zinc dichromate
We would like to know if Zinc Nickel plating has higher friction or comparable with yellow zinc dichromate, Zinc with olive drab

Dichromate coatings are relatively soft and very thin. In friction situations they soon disappear leaving behind the underlying zinc. So, answering your Q, my guess is that zinc-nickel could last longer than plain zinc. G. Marrufo-Mexico

Zinc Nickel Alloy plating can incorporate a friction additive to modify coefficient of friction on the finished fastener, it is one of the main reasons Zinc-Nickel Alloys are specified, together with higher corrosion resistance.
Hope this helps

You could always add a low friction sealer. Many places with threaded parts require a sealer that lowers the co-eff. of friction.
