How do I check for Rust on a galvanized sheet?
Sorry, If my question sounds too amateurish. I had checked 4 galvanized sheets with Silver Nitrate test and to my amazement on 2 sheets Silver chlorides were found. My question is How can 2 out of 4 galvanized sheets have chloride deposits on them?.
Secondly, How can I check the presence of Chrome plating on a galvanized sheet of size 2 mm.

Hi, Santosh.
Galvanized sheets would virtually never be chrome plated. Maybe you are referring to a chromate conversion coating or chromate-bearing final rinse?
