Achieving AuSn eutectic mixture through evaporation
Hi, I want to deposit Au:Sn 80:20 eutectic mixture onto a wafer through my evaporation system. If any one has the experience on this please suggest the best way in thermal/ e-beam/ flash ?

I do not have any experience in depositing AuSn alloy. But during evaporation Au & Sn are likely to separate out and result in a film with different composition. It would perhaps be Sn-Au two layered film. Co-sputtering of Au & Sn would give a better control on the composition.
