How to change my 14k rings to the color of 22k?

June 20, 2011

Hi Folks,

I have a jewelry store and I face a problem that my jewelry (rings, bracelets, ear-rings, etc) change their color to dark brown after a few months of showing them. Of course the problem is they are made in low gold quality, maybe 14k only. Therefore, my question is how I can "coat" my 14k jewelry with the color of 22k, and how to keep the color as long as possible.
Also I don't have much experience in plating area, so my question is hard to understand.

Thank you very much!
