Making Aqueous Bronze at home
Dear D-I-Y Chemist,
Is there a practical way of making bronze powder by using cupric / cuprous chloride, muriatic acid, and solid tin? Do I use a bunson burner or external heat and boil? Can I use a noble metal to accelerate the reaction (the cuprous and stannous chloride giving off chlorine gas and leaving a precipitate to wash and dry)?
