Damage to Ford duratec engine from powdered lime
June 2, 2011
Hello ,
can lime somehow react with car aluminium engine and affect its strength?
By accident for 2 years I've had a dry half inch lime cover at the bottom of spark-plug well in my Ford focus duratec engine. Week ago I cleaned the well very rigorously.
I am afraid if the aluminium staff is not somehow weaker.
