May 21, 2011

hello,

I got purchase and trade office.
one of my client ask for:
1.4548.5 --- X5CRNICUNB17-4-4; Not annealed, H1150.
I find it hard to define,
can you advice me if it is:

1. 17/4H1150
2. 17/4HP
3. OTHERS?

Thanks in advance

Eshel, I believe your client seeks what we in the US would call 17-4 precipitation hardening stainless steel, in the H1150 condition. I would use AMS5643 as the purchasing specification for the metal, and have it aged to the H1150 condition.

Good luck!
