Salvaging chrome plating line tanks
We are demolishing Harley Davidson's plant starting in June 2011. There are a series of tanks on their chrome plating line. There are about 10 small tanks 40"x 72" x 75", two medium sized tanks 10' x 70" x 75" and two long tanks 40' x 72" x 75" Are the tanks steel with a cupronickel liner. I am trying to determine their composition and weight for salvage value. Or ... are they worth much more as is. Any guesses?
