Removal of Parco Lubrite #2 Finish.

We have five (5) power liners (15.5" bore X 22.0" stroke, 250-450 BHP/cyl.) which where inadvertently Parco lubrite #2 finished. They where meant to be chrome plated. What would be the best method of removing this finish in preparation to have the bores chrome plated.

Dear Mr. Khozem Vahaanwala

Thank you for your response, Greatly Appreciated!

I have a few additional questions;

1) To what (approximate) pH level should the citric acid be diluted?

(Mr. Khozem Vahaanwala Response 5/11/11 - 20% )

2) What temperature should the solution be brought for circulating?

(Mr. Khozem Vahaanwala Response 5/11/11 - 45 degrees C / 113 degrees F)
