Chromic Anodize Sealing
What is the better sealant for chromic anodize, hot water or sodium dichromate?
I have heard hot water.

I used to run Salt Spray Tests on plates that were chromic anodized and I noticed faster discoloration with DI water sealing than with dichromate.
Some say dichromate sealing reduces fatigue strength.

DI water are better sealing provide they are with very low conductivity and silica. The water should be tested daily as they become contaminated very fast.
