Kohler satin finish lavatory sink damaged by acid
While preparing a tile shower for regrouting a mixture of water and muriatic acid was spilled. In cleaning up some got on the Kohler bathroom sink. It's the Timpani sleek satin finish lavatory vessel. It seems to be a polished stainless steel finish, and the acid mixture has dulled it in several spots. Can I put a polishing tool on my Dremel ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] and bring back the shine or have I ruined my customers $800.00 sink ? Any help would really be great. Thanks, Dave

It's going to be really difficult to touch up and match the original finish. What you *might* be able to do is refinish it all over with some sort of abrasive.
