Can shortening be left in anodized deep fryer?
I recently purchased a hard anodized deep fryer and want to know if it is safe to leave the shortening in the pot to be used over and over again like I did with my old plain aluminum deep fryer.
My concern would be possibly part of the anodized material might seep into the shortening?
