Need better cleaning before zinc-iron plating
We are experiencing problems in our zinc-iron line with a part that presents a black spot after tack welding and before hand brazing, according to our braze rod supplier: "It appears to be oxidation due to burning off an oily residue". Can you suggest a procedure to overcome this issue, we suspect we are not using the appropriate cleaning method.
Currently to get a good part it needs to go twice through the process line, been stripped after the first time through the line.
Thank you very much for your help.

Hi, Arnoldo.
Are you doing rack or barrel plating? What is your current pretreatment: soak clean-electroclean-hydrochloric acid activate?
