Using iron-rich garnet to blast stainless steel

Dear Sir / Madam ,

In our field we have numerous stainless steel pipes which should be dry abrasive blasted. On the other hand, the abrasive allocated for this purpose is garnet containing 35% Fe2O3 . Considering this that Fe2O3 naturally causes corrosion on stainless steel surfaces, using this abrasive is permitted or not? Furthermore , I think that this level of Fe2O3 in chemical composition has not been mentioned in free circumstances.
If we would have 90 PSI pressure in the nozzle and we would like to create the surface profile between 30 - 40 micron on the ordinary stainless steel, what size of garnet do you suggest?

Yours faithfully
Nosratzadeh
