What is 5052 aluminum vs. QQA 250/8?
One of my customers requires the aluminium sheet to QQA 250/8, I would like to know what is the difference between 5052 and QQA 250/8. Thank you!

QQ-A-250/8 is the old US Federal Specification for 5052 aluminum sheet and plate. So it's a spec you'd use to buy 5052, and has requirements for composition, yield and tensile strength, and bend factor.

Kelvin,
QQ-A-250/8 is the USA Federal specification for 5052 sheet and plate. This has now been superseded by SAE-AMSQQA250/8.
