Difference between ETP and OFHC copper? Which retains its color a long time?

What is the difference between ETP grade copper and OFHC copper? which of the these 2 retains its color for a longer duration? I am asking for selective plating purposes.

If I selective plate (silver plate) these two, which would be retaining the original color rather than becoming blackish due to oxidation?

Hope to get a reply soon.

Hi Nikhil,

Usually OFHC (Oxygen free high conductivity) copper is less prone to oxidation than ETP (Electrolytic tough pitch) copper which contains ~0.03% oxygen.
