Can old zinc be re-used when installing new zinc pot?
installing a ceramic zinc pot is it good to use the old zinc .

Like many questions on here, with little further info, the answer is not definitive.
Re-using old zinc?
In theory yes, a good idea.
But...
Is it contaminated? (where did it come from?
Is it in practical shape to re-melt? (you'll need to get heat transfer through the lumps in melting)
Is it safe to handle? (large sizes able to be lifted?)
