Coating Suggestions
Hello,
I would like to investigate having 316L stainless tanks coated with a material that would make them corrosion resistant to the following solutions. A unique coating can be used for each of the solutions since they are in separate tanks and can be dedicated to that particular process:
1% sulfuric acid & 0.5% sodium hypochlorite (bleach)
⇦ bleach/sodium hypochlorite in bulk on
eBay
or
Amazon [affil links]
.
If anybody can steer me in the right direction, that would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't advise using any coating, Chris. Assuming the temperature is not high, a better choice would be a well-constructed polypropylene tank instead of stainless steel. If you must use your stainless tank, then my next choice would be to add a rigid polypropylene welded liner. A budget option would be to add a flexible PVC liner.

A Halar coating (ECTFE) will resist these conditions.
