Fine etchant for glass
I am looking to create an almost invisible fine etch on the inside of a borosilicate glass vial, about 1 cm in diameter. I'd prefer to avoid nasty chemicals like hydrofluoric acid.
Would the commercial products, like Armour Etch or Etch Bath be too coarse? Any suggestions?
