Need Plating of 150 pound steel console table

January 27, 2011

Hi all
I am a furniture designer based out of Brooklyn, NY.
We have a small piece of furniture, a wall console measuring 15" deep x 40" across x 32" h.
The piece looks like a small table, four legs with an Apron of about 6". It is made entirely out of steel. I would like to plate it using either hard chrome or nickel chrome. I am having great difficulty in finding a plating co. that will take on the job. Also this console is one piece and cannot be taken apart and weighs about 150 lbs. Please, could any one of you recommend a company that would do this? We can ship anywhere in the Us but regional is always preferable. Thank you !
Emmanuel.
