Molybdenum Oxidation Prevention Coating
I am interested in coating molybdenum parts/spheres (1/4" - 1/2" in diamter) with a coating that will prevent oxidation. The molybdenum will see temperatures around 1,000F for approximately 300 hours. Also, anything containing boron is not ideal for this application.

Not much will fit that need.
Gold will probably get a bit soft. Platinum would work better but costs a lot more.
Possibly Rhodium which is cheaper and a bit harder as well as more available as a plating might work.
You need a good experienced plater with moly as it is not the easiest metal to activate and plate.
