Make up AMS-M3171 type III with technical grade dichromate?

January 13, 2011

Hello Srs.

We want to start up a line for treatment type III (AMSM3171) the doubt we have is if we can use dichromate technical grade to make up the solution?

As I recall, your only requirement is that all materials shall be of good quality. Technical grade is really all that is reasonably available and it is generally what is used.

Hello

what is the color we should get in the parts after dichromate treatment, according to the spec a black or gray color is normal, but a dark brown, is still good?
