Topcoating of galvanized pipes

We are manufacturers of Galvanized pipes in Kenya. We would like to know if we can increase the quality of our products by some sort of coating on these pipes with some value addition.

Dear MR. Ameet Parikh.

There is no coating for get better quality of steel pipes..

To get better quality of steel pipe coating, your process should be well equipped with proper chemical composition and dipping cycle and removal of pipes from Galvanizing pot is the most important.

Better you should have proper Q.C. person to maintain your all process tank chemicals in proper way and your production person should know the temp of zinc bath and dipping time for different size and thickness of materials.

In addition to the galvanizing, you could consider powdercoating over the top of that. In this way you can offer both the excellent corrosion protection that galvanizing affords, and also the aesthetics that colour and smoothness offer. Extra value, more sales, higher turnover.
