Using fabric for bar top

I am redoing my kitchen and am covering the counter top with fabric. I've ordered the Kleer Koat Bar Top Epoxy from Composite Envisions. From what I've read, you're supposed to adhere the fabric with sprayable adhesive this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] to attach it to the wood. Do I prime the wood first? When do I add the seal coat? If I prime the wood and then apply the fabric with the adhesive, do I need a seal coat?
