Polishing stainless steel after its been sanded to remove vandalism
I wanted to get flat stainless steel to its original lusted after sanding it to remove vandalism gouges.
It is on an elevator front and elevator door. The gouges are gone but so is the luster. How do I get it back to its original finish.

About the only thing you can do is to use non-woven wheels on the scratches and then try to blend everything in. That probably means re-doing the whole panel; otherwise, consult or hire an auto repair mechanic.
