Chrome coating visual finish concern
What will cause a hazing or cloudy appearance after chrome coat. The surface is polished prior to chrome coat and parts are ultrasonic cleaned.

Hi, Terry. Chrome and chrome-look finishes are applied to a huge variety of substrates in many different ways, and it isn't clear what you mean by "chrome coat". Are you speaking of nickel-chrome decorative electroplating of components? Is this a long-running successful process that has suddenly gone south, or a brand new startup? What are the operational parameters for the chrome electroplating bath? Thanks!

If it is chrome plate, the normal culprit is the wrong amperage vs the temperature. There is a parallelogram shaped curve for allowable T vs A.
