Generating hydrogen as a fuel for automobiles
Trying to make a simple hydrogen separator using a 12vt battery and ejecting small parts of sodium bicarbonate to the water. pulling the hydrogen into a flask with a vacuum pump. using a propane adapter on the carburater. the problem is it's not producing enough hydrogen to continuously run the engine.

Hi, Pat. More batteries and bigger cells will produce more hydrogen. But you do know that there is no such thing as perpetual motion? This system cannot work unless you charge the battery externally from the system, consuming more energy in generating hydrogen than you can get from burning it.
