Alkaline zinc plating issues

Hello, I run a alkaline zinc line with merlin brightener, ultra pure, and starter. We use caustic soda ⇦liquid caustic soda in bulk on Amazon [affil link] membrane grade and haven't added caustic soda in almost 2 months. Is this a problem and can the temperature of the solution affect the plating (low rectifier amperes?)

What you should be doing is analyzing the bath to see that the caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) content and the zinc metal content are within the suppliers parameters for a properly operating bath. The time between additions is meaningless if the bath is out of spec.
