Need bronze plating of steel
I'm looking to get an aged bronze finish on some 1/2" thick brushed steel parts. The problem is the parts are larger than any tanks I can find in Minnesota. The parts are 30.5" x 20.125", 26.5" x 20.125", 43" x 10.125"...
I've done things this size in copper having them plated and using liver of fish oil but never bronze.
The parts are for a table I'm making.
Any Ideas, suggestions, amusing anecdotes would be most appreciated, thanks

A. Hi Chris,
Although it is possible to do bronze electroplating, and it is occasionally done for engineering purposes, the bronze look you are visualizing is probably rarely if ever done by actual bronze electroplating; rather, it's done by copper electroplating followed by a darkening treatment and then a protective clear coat.
So if you've done copper plating of these before, you're still on the right track.
Luck & Regards,
