Zinc-rich powder coatings

December 15, 2010

hi
dear friends. I am very happy to find such a friendly and useful site. I am a coating powder formulator and recently have heard about "powder coating for gas capsules" . as you may know , in some countries, petrol is replaced with gas (as car's fuel). so there are gas cylinders in cars. as I have heard, there is a special coating system for these cylinders. could you please suggest me the suitable coating system for these cylinders?

I want to make a zinc rich base coating . I also want to have high mechanical resistance. can I add zinc powder to a polyester formula? or shall I make zinc rich epoxy coating powder?

formulator - Tehran, Iran
