Removal of Gold Plating from Tungsten Ring
Hello,
I have a tungsten ring with a thin gold plated band around the middle. This gold band is very thin however and is showing a significant amount of the tungsten substrate. I think it would be neater all round if I just removed the gold layer and had a plain tungsten band. What would be the easiest way to do this?

If it is accessible, since it is all ready thin, the cheapest safe way is to wet sand it with 1200 grit wet/dry silicon paper.
