Dust Yellowish in Silver Spraying
I'm using my own silver chrome-look spray on plastics, but I have a problem. Maybe someone can help me.
I use three solutions A ammonia
⇦ this on
eBay or
Amazon [affil links] - silver nitrate mixed with solution B (ammonium - sodium) and the reducer solution C Hydrazine sulphate ⇦[this on
Amazon affil links]
and hydrated.
Achieving a good coating with good adhesion, but cannot rinse with water to eliminate a sort of yellowish dust that forms at the end that lowers the quality of color and top coat adhesion.
I tried different proportions and balance of solutions and rinsed well with more pressure but it does not work. I can only solve this by rubbing the surface with a soft cloth, and get an excellent color with no scratches or damage to the silver coating, but this is not the right way.
Maybe someone has a suggestion to know where is the problem?
Thanks and hope to be understood as I use the google translator.

A. Dear Sir
1- your reducing agent may be very strong
tray to use sodium gluconate
it is more suitable in this case
2-no need for thick layer
thanks
