Corrosion testing method for Nickel Plating on brass

Sir,
In our electrical product we are using bras screw with nickel plating of 3.5 mm size.
Now we want to replace the screw by ordinary M.S. (Steel)to reduce the cost. For trial samples we have plated screw by copper plating initial layer of 1 to 2 micron and nickel barrel plating 2-4 microns. What will be suitable method for corrosion testing. Can we take Neutral Salt Spray Test for this and can we get corrosion resistance up to 140 hours. this is our customer expectation.
Pl give your comments.
