Uncontrolled variations in flash gold plating colour
I have a problem: flash colour is changing in every strike gold deposit on nickel plated copper jewellery articles.
I am following plating chemical instructions in bath, but in some articles flash colour in not the same at same voltage and temp. and also with same time?
I use progressive D-salt at 45 grm/lt.
what can I do, please tell me? (my English is not good so please ignore mistakes)

Then, the nickel plate is not uniform, or the parent metal is not the exact same surface finish, or you agitation is different or a number of other factors .

I had that problem at one time. Lighter shade of gold/darker shade of gold/ pinkish all in the same barrel. How old is your strike bath? I've found that, although painful, a new gold strike bath gives excellent color uniformity. As the bath ages, the strike bath progressively gets contaminated from the nickel drag in and other contaminants.
