Copper plating on zinc

Hello, I am a home hobbyist who makes my own custom parts for airguns. I use a lot of brass and zinc to make my parts out of. I would like to copperplate these parts just for my own use. I have some copper sulphate this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] left from cleaning my fencerows and I was wondering what mixture I would use to make this plate onto zinc. I would also like to know if there is a finish I can have commercially done to make some other parts, like triggers and sights made from zinc and brass that makes a black hard-wearing surface? Thanks in advance!

Try next web page: attachments.wetpaintserv.us/TfuRNJ_GLYiy-a_0jvIMxA483937
There you can download (free=0$) booklet on colouring and plating of metals, including zinc. Hope it helps and good luck!
