What to wash polyurethane with before plasma treatment

I am doing plasma treatment for polyurethane membrane and I would like to know with which chemical it should be washed prior to experiment.

Could you tell us why you are plasma treating and why you need to clean before and after plasma treatment?. What is your experiment? The answers would help the readers to help you!
