Corrosion on 304 L stainless steel electrical panel
We have fabricated an electric panel cubical with 304 L grade steel, We are using this panel in outside environment i.e direct sun light and moisture; can this moisture result in corrosion on this steel panel? If yes kindly advise us. Kindly note that this panel has been installed at Milk processing Plant.

Hammad,
You probably won't have a problem. Sunlight isn't an issue and typical rain and humidity shouldn't have much of an impact on 304 unless there's some surface iron contamination from fabrication.
Usually 304 is only in trouble when there are high chlorine levels, such as regular cleaning with chlorine based cleaners, or it is located in a coastal area.
