Hi Suneel,

The question is very vague...

It is mainly depending upon your quality requirements.

Do you go the anodizing for aesthetic purposes like cosmetic? or engineering requirements? or Construction requirements? the criteria changes accordingly.

However the minimum requirements could be thickness measurement equipment, an inspection table/ booth with required lux level, a master piece / photos for visual inspection...etc..

Hardness tester ( micro vickers/ others)..

Probably you may have to sit with your customer and understand what quality anodizing they need.

If you do it for yourself then probably you should understand what is the purpose / application of it according you can decide..

Please explain your type of anodizing, application of it, size of the components.. etc.. which may be helpful for the experts here in the portal to help you..

Suneel,

You do not say which type of anodising you want to check, but a good starting point would be for you to read MIL-A-8625, which has lot and periodic testing for chromic, sulfuric and hard anodising.
